At the end
of 2002, the number of broadband subscribers across
the world rose to 59 million with a 13% growth over
the previous quarter.
Asia-Pacific
with more than 24 million subscribers and 41 percent
of world market is the biggest broadband region in
the world.
Americas with over 22 million subscribers and 40 percent
world market is the second largest market for broadband
followed by Europe and Middle East-Africa. Europe
with more than12 million and Middle-East Africa with
